Same Love Radio Documentary

Hey guys, I recently teamed up with my best friend Jenna Rovinelli for a radio documentary that sheds some light on my experiences being gay in a Catholic high school and striving for equality in a society that shames being anything outside of a preconceived norm.

It’s a very introspective and personal look at my life – there are people who may never understand me or why I choose to do the things that I do. But I have nothing to hide behind any longer and I don’t feel the need to justify myself anymore. The beauty about life is that it is so multifaceted and that we do not have to own our labels. Nothing lasts forever and everything is conditional. We can be whoever and whatever we want to be.

If you can’t relate to my own personal experiences I hope that if you take the time to listen it will inspire you in some small way to look at your own life because it is never too late to be the kind of person that you want to be. Life is a journey of self-discovery and we’re all in this together.

About humblefoot

Kyle Fisher (who often uses the alias Logan Rowley online and in his writing) has been enjoying writing since he was just 8 years old. His first formal publication was at the age of 13. He is now a spiritualist and openly queer author, perpetually searching for inspiration to create and learn more about the world around him. He is always drawn to the simplicity and uniqueness that life has to offer. He doesn’t identify with labels or socially constructed ideas about how the world should be. He believes that the world is your oyster, and that we all project our own destinies with the thoughts we choose to harbour about the universe. He is an idealistic, spiritualistic hippie who is just trying to find his place in this world, crafting each word to leave his mark, and promote love and equality among all people.
